Guided City Tour with Dr. Roswitha Schieb
Traces of Silesia in Berlin
Starting at the Brandenburg Gate, which was built by Carl Gotthard Langhans – an architect born in Silesia – this city tour takes us on the trail of Silesian influences in Berlin-Mitte. The tour will highlight well-known and less well-known buildings and works of art and also bring participants closer to other rich Silesian influences in the German capital.
The walking tour will make stops at the Charité Hospital, Hedwig Cathedral, Prinzessinnen Palace, Berlin “Dom” Cathedral and the Marienkirche (St. Mary’ Chruch) and come to an end in the area known as the Nikolaiviertel.
Tickets: 9 EUR, available at the Urania only.
